Tell me about yourself.
My name is Anna Sandgren and I am quality manager at Alf Pettersson AB. I live in Lerum and love technology. As an engineer, I like to piece together and see the big picture and maybe that's why I like Scrap-Booking? It's a way to get an outlet for my creativity and since I'm not very good at painting, it's lucky that there are nice stamps.
What are you doing at work?
My role is quite new and my job is to make sure that we get even better at what we do. We have always been good at quality and now we work with our ISO certification. It's about getting structure to quality work and showing the world how good we are at quality and the environment. It helps us throughout the chain, from answering the phone to how the product is used and eventually recycled.
What's it like working here?
We care about the staff and it is never a concern to get what is needed to be able to do your job. I feel that I have a lot of freedom in my job and that everyone trusts what I say. My responsibility is clear and it is up to me how good the result will be.
And I like the idea of working locally. It is sustainable and by working long-term with local suppliers we benefit our neighbors and can be involved in influencing.

Tell me about yourself.
My name is Joakim Glans and I work in production and assemble the boxes. I live in Långared and like to fish and hunt. Being in nature simply. Imagine sitting in a boat on Anten fishing. Or walk on a forest trail and listen to the birds. A great interest is to chop wood. I've taken a chainsaw license and I love to clear the woods. It's great to see how open and nice it gets afterwards.
What are you doing at work?
I've been working here for ten years, and now my daughter works here too. I assemble Bas - and Premium boxes. It's not just a box. You put your soul into it and want the name to stand for quality and cooperation. If there's anything, you take care of it. We strive to have as good a relationship with the customer as possible.
What's it like working here?
It's a fantastic employer and management is keen that we feel good. We make things up, like when the whole company went to the Czech Republic to check out robots. Everyone is equal regardless of the task. And also I like my colleagues, even though they try to get me off balance now that you are going to photograph me, haha.
We have a good working environment that is neat and orderly. It makes the job so much easier when you don't have to stumble upon stuff. We have a shared breakfast every morning and since we raffle the seats you get to know everyone.
